


BECOMING AN ESAFE SCHOOL
HOW DOES IT WORK?
AT LEAST 3 MEMBERS OF STAFF ACHIEVE THE INDIVIDUAL EPICT ONLINE SAFETY CERTIFICATE
They can undertake the certification online or face to face with the support of an existing EPICT Authorised Trainer
THEY COLLATE THEIR COLLECTIVE EVIDENCE
Schools need to prove competence in 6 areas
Their EPICT Facilitator will assess the collective evidence
EPICT Facilitators can be expert members of staff or external support
RECEIVE THE EPICT ESAFE SCHOOL CERTIFICATE
You are now a registered EPICT ESAFE SCHOOL able to deliver the latest online safety messages to parents, students and governors providing reassurance to all stakeholders

Status
Successful EPICT ESAFE Schools can become Facilitators for neighbouring schools ensuring conformanace to online safety standards.
In addition, you can choose to provide their services to other organisations.
This not only enables delivery of EPICT materials and courses to colleagues but also to external clients such as schools, parents and social/educational organisations.

Recognition
All EPICT ESAFE Schools are listed on the EPICT Website and included in regular EPICT bulletins.
You will receive logos, advice and central materials.
The EPICT logos and marketing materials can be added to your website and marketing materials and you will be authorised to use the designations of EPICT ESAFE School.
EPICT Schools are also eligible for discounts with partner organisations.

Costs
The only cost is the collective price of the your initial individual EPICT Certificate courses (£199 per person online directly with EPICT, or variable if using an external facilitator - independent facilitators determine their own charges)
