BECOMING AN EPICT TRAINER
HOW DOES IT WORK?
ACHIEVE THE EPICT ONLINE SAFETY CERTIFICATE
You can undertake the certification online or face to face with the support of an existing EPICT Authorised Trainer
UNDERTAKE 8 HOURS OF TRAIN THE TRAINER STUDY
You can undertake this study online or face to face at a training day
Trainers are schooled in EPICT requirements regarding content, knowledge, delivery and assessment
RECEIVE THE EPICT FACILITATOR DIPLOMA
You are now a registered EPICT Trainer able to deliver, support and assess school staff as they achieve their EPICT Certification
Revenue
Successful EPICT Trainers become Facilitators for their own organisation ensuring conformanace to online safety standards.
In addition, they can choose to provide their services to other organisations.
This not only enables delivery of EPICT materials and courses to colleagues but also to external clients such as schools, parents and social/educational organisations.
Perhaps you are looking for an extra income, to downsize to part-time work or to become self-employed? EPICT can provide you with an income stream whilst continuing to carry out the work you love.
Marketing
All Trainers are listed on the EPICT Website and included in regular EPICT bulletins.
You will receive full marketing support including logos, advice and central materials.
You are responsible for establishing contact with schools and other clients within your area.
The EPICT logos and marketing materials can be added to your website and marketing materials and you will be authorised to use the designations of EPICT Trainer and/or Facilitator.
EPICT Trainers are also eligible for discounts with partner organisations.
Costs
The only set up cost is the price of the your initial EPICT Certificate course (£199)
Thereafter, you are responsible for establishing your own charging strategy within your geographical area dependent on the specific needs of your clients. For example, some trainers offer face to face twilight, half-day or full day training courses or online support. You are best placed to determine your customer's needs and EPICT allows you the flexibility to provide this.
EPICT receives a £45 standard commission on each candidate you enrol. There are no ongoing fixed costs.

We schedule regular events and provide our super network of existing EPICT Trainers with excellent support in order to keep you up to date with all the latest news and issues.
